Automotive Technician – Mid to High Level
Location: Millers Automotive Service, Gastonia NC
Schedule: Monday – Friday (No weekends!)
Compensation: Performance-based pay (earn based on productivity and skill)

Position Overview:
We’re looking for a mid-to-high-level automotive technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is experienced, dependable, and motivated to grow with a shop that rewards performance and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Customer-focused first and foremost.
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles (all makes and models).
- Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and repair work efficiently and accurately.
- Communicate clearly with the service writer about vehicle needs and progress.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and care for shop tools and equipment.
- Through our company-sponsored training opportunities, stay up to date with evolving automotive technology and repair techniques.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional automotive repair experience (independent or dealership).
- Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to perform engine, suspension, brake, and driveline repairs.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Own basic tools (shop provides specialty tools and equipment).
- ASE certifications a plus, but not required.
